A resident of Knoxville, Debra decided to apply for a job as a bell ringer while visitng her sister her in Chattanooga. On Novermber 29, 2010, Debra braves the cold, rainy Monday with a warm heart and a smile. After her bell broke she improvised by hitting it against the wall. “God knew I needed a job, and He provided,” she says.

Stephen Buchanan, a retired business man, takes time to give back during the holiday season. ” I have an immensly deep heart for children,” he says. ” To think that they are going to have a Christmas they otherwise would not have had.. that is why I do it.”

Lisa takes her free time to volunteer for the Salvation Army along with her two kids Kevin and Becky. In years past she has been involved with the Angel Tree, but decided to try something new this year. A native of Chicago she is undaunted by the cold Tennessee weather.
